All Because of Alligtors

Topic: The Alligator River Story

This tale is about a desperate and in love woman, Abigail, who wants to be reunited with her lover, Gregory, but a hungry Alligator filled river separates the two. When her friend, Ivan, refuses to be apart of her journey, she has to take a boat captain’s offer, named Sinbad, to have sexual intercourse with him before the journey. Once Abigail is reunited with her lover Gregory, she confesses her wrong doing. Gregory gives Abigail the boat and she is left heartbroken. Abigail tells her other friend, Slug, about what has happened. Being a compassionate friend, Slug beats Gregory Brutally while Abigail watches will laughing.

I give the number one spot for respect to Slug. The way he feels for Abigail is the way I feel for my female friend; if someone breaks the heart of one of my friends, the person that did it got it coming. Slug wasn’t doing nothing but being a good friend. He saw that his friend, Abigail, was heartbroken from a relationship; so, he took it upon himself to beat the guy senseless. The most respect goes to him.

Ivan gets the number two spot. He real wasn’t even involved in this story. When Abigail comes up to him for help, he just simple said that he doesn’t want any part of it. The only thing he did wrong is not help Abigail. Ivan is suppose to her friend. It’s not for that reason he gets such a high rating on respect, it’s just that the story is full of non respected people that he just didn’t do enough to get rated low.

Gregory is number three on the respect scale. The first thing he did wrong is not understand the situation. He just kicked Abigail out his life without understanding why she did what she did. Second, he got beaten brutally. How can someone just let someone beat them up. If it was me and I was Gregory, I would be the one doing the beating. Gregory was the middle of the story so he gets the middle respect.

Number 4 in respect would have to be Sinbad. This guy gets almost no respect. He makes Abigail have sex with him in order for her to see her man. That is grimy as hell to me. Even though Abigail shouldn’t have agreed to it, Sinbad shouldn’t have asked her to do that. The trifling immoral man gets a four in respect.

The award for least respect goes to Abigail, the number 5 spot. This woman is a two-faced, sex-driven bitch, pardon my French. She is in love with a man but has sex with another man, than the first man dumps her, she gets mad, and has another man beat the first man up. Abigail even had the nerve to laugh at the third man beating the first man up. She doesn’t make sense to me. Abigail is just like every other confused girl on this earth. She is the weakest link; Abigail get a five for loser.

Burning Rainbow Flags

Topic: Human Rights v. Majority Rule

Is homosexuality or heterosexuality wrong? I question that has been asked for many years. I have no problem with it, but many Americans see homosexuality and heterosexuality as the skid mark on the underpants of society. Because of that reason, America has, for several years now, attempted to “legally abolish in public employment discrimination based on sexual preference”. Not only do I find this decision to be wrong, I find this kind of ridiculous and ignorant on all surfaces of the issue.

An individual’s sexual preference should not effect their employment for many reasons. It shouldn’t matter what they do behind closed doors anyways. What they do or who they do isn’t anyone’s business. That factor does not affect someone’s performance in the workplace nor should it make them look different in the workplace. Like the example used in the prompt—an elementary school teacher. I young child sees a teacher as a mentor, an educator who is the key to their success in life; young children don’t see a homosexual or heterosexual. At the end of the day, a teacher is a teacher as long as you do the job to the best of your ability, there is no gay or straight.

Homosexuals and heterosexuals are no different from straight individuals. Most Americans think of gays as aliens or forbidden territory when in all actuality they just like everyone else except for their sexual preference. For example, most men think that other gay men will hit on them or, in other words, try to get in someone’s pants. I have a friend who is gay and he is the most interesting individual I have ever met. I think most Americans should get over the fact that homosexuals and heterosexuals are abnormal sex machines.

This issue, in my eyes, is all based on one problem that most Americans have—closed mindedness. People need to open their eyes and understand the other side of the issue; put the other persons shoe on your foot. Everyone should just have a personal conversation with a homosexual or heterosexual. Ask them about their ideas, beliefs, how they see the world as a whole today. Only then will most individuals understand that they are just like everyone else.
